this was for my Typeography class, and we had to create a logo. I made one for a fictional tea parlor. The name came from the title of the woman who created tea parties in the West. the assignment  was to create the typefaces, but my teacher allowed me to just download a typeface since the curls would take a lot of time (he was right!). I did however create the "D", which is in the shape of a cup.
I decided to go for a late-victortian theme (since Tea Parties originated at that time). The problem though was figuring out how to have the victorian look, but not have it look "busy". I decided to just have the logo curvy, surrounded by thin black lines, and have these curls that acted as arrows directing the viewer.
